The hotel was temporarily closed due to a roof leak but had a funny smell. The location was close to the casino, and perfect for accessing nearby restaurants and shops, though cleanliness was an issue. I stayed at this hotel for three days but had to leave after the second day due to a hurricane approaching South Mississippi. Despite that inconvenience, the rooms were clean, neat, and nicely decorated. The service, although it could have been a bit friendlier, was helpful and accommodating. The location, while needing some cleaning and trash pickup, was convenient to the nearby casino and accessible to all in Avoyelles Parish. The dining experience in the morning was enjoyable with a variety of breakfast options, although I wish they hadn't run out of sausage so quickly.
